Frank Lampard, who has started off the season strong opened up the scoring in the 48th minute. An additional 6 goals were then scored between the 53rd minute and the 90th minute, these goals came from Edin Dzeko, Jesus Navas,Yaya Toure, Pozo, and finally, in the 90th minute, Lampard capped off a great game with another goal

The following are the results from the recent Capital One Cup matches:

Quite a dull match up untinl the final quarter. Nottingham Forest scored first from a Jorge Grant strike in the 61st minute. Ryan Mason then equalised for Tottenham in the 72nd minute which was then added to by Soldado in the 83rd minute, putting Tottenham ahead. This lead was added to in the 90th minute when Harry Cane scored

Newcastle 3-2 Crystal Palace  (Played in Selhurst Park)

A rough start for Newcastle in the Premier League, only managing to earn 3 points from their first 5 games. Crystal Palace were awarded with a penalty in the 25th minute which Dwight Gayle blasted home. Riviere evened the scoring for Newcastle in the 36th minute and in the 49th minute, he added another goal to his record, putting Newcastle 2-1 up. This lead was held up to the dying moments and after a last ditch Crystal Palce attack, Sullay Kaikai hit the back of the net.

Another great match in the Capital One Cup. Brown Ideye opened up the scoring in the 16th minute, putting West Bom ahead. Thomas Ince then equalised for hull in the 41st minute. Here are the big Premiership results from the weekend, 21st of September.

Manchester United 3-5 Leicester     [Played in King Power Stadium]

Another loss for United at the start of the league. They started off well as Robin Van Persie scored their first goal in the Then, in the  16th minute, Di Maria scored a magical chip putting United in a comfortable position. This lead was then reduced when Ulloa scored a header in the 17th minute.
It too quite a while for the next score in the match but it came in the 57th minute when Hererra put United 3-1 up with a nice back heel. Uniteds breakdown started in the 62nd minute, when they conceded a penalty which Nugent slotted. Goals then came from Cambiasso, Ulloa and Vardy, making the score 5-3

Chelsea 1-1 Manchester City   (Played in Eithad Stadium)

One of the biggest matches of the year was played on Sunday between two of the best teams of the league. This match was set to be a great game, which it was, with many great saves from both goalkeepers, Joe Hart and Thibaut Courtois. The breakthrough finally came when Schurrle scored in the 75th minute. But, this lead was squandered when former Chelsea legend Frank Lampard scored from a last ditch attack in the 90th minute, which made the game finish 1-1.

Everton 2-3 Crystal Palace (Goodison Park)

A great win for Crystal Palace. An early goal in the 9th minute from Romelu Lukaku put Everton in the lead. Crystal Palace responded with a goal when Mile Jedinak converted a penalty in the 30th minute, putting the scores equal again. It was then Crystal Palace`s turn to take the lead as Fraizer Cambal scored in the 58th minute. Bolasie then increased this lead with his 69th minute strike.                                     Champions League

Here are the results for the major champions league matches:

Chelsea 1-1 Schalke         (Played in Stamford Bridge)

An early goal from Fabregas (Assisted by Hazard) in the 11th minute put Chelsea in the lead. By half time, Chelsea should have been ahead. However, Schalke began to get their way back into the game, and in the 68th minute Klass Jan Huntelaar equalised for Schalke making it 1-1,where the game stayed.

Manchester City 0-1 Bayern Munich         (Played in the Allianz Arena)

Manchester City were up against in my opinion, the best club in the world and they certainly gave them a run for their money in this fixture. Some fantastic saves from Manchester City`s Joe Hart kept them in the game, but finally in the 90th minute, Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng scored a deflected goal which gave them the win.

Ajax 1-1 PSG           (Played in the Amsterdam Arena)

Big spenders PSG were expect to take all three points against home team Ajax, but they found that they would not go down so easily. Edison Cavani opened up the scoring early on but the lead was short lived as Lasse Schone scored a brilliant free kick from 25 yards out to make it 1-1, where the game stayed.

Liverpool 2-1 Ludogorets     (Played in Anfield)

A poor game up until the end, Ludogorets caused some problems for Liverpool until finally, with 8 minutes to go, New signing Mario Balotelli scored his first goal for the club, putting Liverpool 1 goal up. However, in injury time, Ludogorets striker Dani Abalo feeds off a mistake from Loveren and rounds Mingolet to put the sides equal, 1-1. Liverpool fought hard and their work payed off when Javier Manquillo went down in the box to get his team a penalty, which Steven Gerard slotted, giving Liverpool a 2-1 win
